The University of Bergen’s Department of Information Science and Media Studies is seeking a tenured Associate Professor in Information Science with a focus on behavioural data science. The position is split between teaching (50%) and research (50%).

The ideal candidate will have an established research profile in behavioural data science, with expertise in computational methods for modelling user behaviour. Key responsibilities include:

Contributing to core teaching in information science at the Bachelor’s and Master’s levels.
Developing and teaching courses in data science, programming, and computational methods.
Curriculum development with a focus on applied and industry-relevant perspectives.
