King’s College London offers 20 AI+ Academic Fellowships, providing 3 years of protected research time and a vibrant community of AI expertise.
King’s College London is offering 20 AI+ Academic Fellowships, a major strategic investment in AI innovation and application. The fellowships provide 3 years of 80% ‘protected’ research time, with minimal education/administrative responsibilities, enabling awardees to focus on establishing outstanding research programmes.
After the 3-year period, subject to a review, there will be a gradual transition over the next 2 years to the standard requirements for open-ended academic posts in the host Faculty. Fellows will be expected to contribute to a vibrant community of AI expertise and engage in the development and modification of UG/PGT education programmes that include or are informed by AI approaches.
Appointments will usually be made at either Level 7 (Fellow) or Level 8 (Senior Fellow) of our Research job family. Please see the Person Specification for the role criteria at each level.
