The successful candidate will work on the design of robot cognitive architectures for trust. A PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, or AI is required.
The University of Manchester’s Department of Computer Science is offering a 4-year postdoctoral research associate position in the Cognitive Robotics Lab. The project, CASPER++, aims to design and develop a cognitive architecture for transparent share goal and intention reading in multi-agent teams. The successful candidate will work on the design of robot cognitive architectures for trust. A PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, or AI is required. Excellent programming skills, robotics and/or machine learning skills, and previous experience and publication track record in robot cognitive modeling or AI are essential.
The research associate will work collaboratively with the Cognitive Robotics Lab under the supervision of Professor Angelo Cangelosi and in close collaboration with other project partners.
