The 6th Nordic Probabilistic AI School (ProbAI) 2025 is now accepting applications for its intensive five-day program, taking place from June 16-20 in Trondheim, Norway. Whether you are a PhD student, advanced MSc or BSc student, experienced researcher, engineer, or hobbyist, you are welcome to join.

What to Expect:

  • State-of-the-art expertise in machine learning and AI with a probabilistic focus
  • Blended learning with theory and hands-on sessions
  • Expert lecturers guiding you through topics such as probabilistic modeling, variational inference, conformal predictions, deep generative models, geometric probabilistic models, and probabilistic circuits

  • Day 3: Conformal Predictions – Zhimei Ren (University of Pennsylvania)
  • Day 3: MCMC, Ensembles, BNNs – Arto Klami (University of Helsinki)
  • Day 4: Deep Generative Models and Flow Matching – Jes Frellsen (Technical University of Denmark), Alexander Tong (Mila – Quebec AI Institute)
  • Day 5: Geometric Probabilistic Models – Viacheslav Borovitskiy (ETH Zürich)
  • Day 5: Probabilistic Circuits – Antonio Vergari (University of Edinburgh)

Registration Fee:

  • Students (including PhD) → 3000 NOK (~250 EUR)
  • Academia → 6000 NOK (~500 EUR)
  • Industry → 12 000 NOK (~1000 EUR)

The registration fee includes all courses, coffee breaks, lunches, and a banquet. Scholarships are available for applicants from under-resourced and under-represented communities.
