Biomedical Machine Translation Shared Task at WMT’24

The biomedical machine translation shared task at WMT’24 aims to evaluate the translation quality of scientific documents from the biomedical domain. The test data consists of biomedical abstracts in various language pairs including English-French, French-English, English-German, German-English, English-Italian, Italian-English, English-Portuguese, Portuguese-English, English-Russian, Russian-English, English-Spanish, and Spanish-English. Evaluation will be carried out both automatically and manually. Important dates include the release of test data on June 27th, 2024, results submission deadline on July 4th, 2024, and paper submission deadline following EMNLP.
