Call for submissions to the AAAC Outstanding PhD Dissertation Award 2026, recognizing research contributions in Affective Computing. Deadline: 31 March 2026.

The AAAC Outstanding PhD Dissertation Award 2026 is now open for submissions, recognizing extraordinary research contributions from recently graduated PhD students within the Affective Computing community.

Eligibility criteria:

• Dissertations completed between 1 January 2025 and 31 December 2025.
• Candidates must be AAAC members at the time of application.
• Dissertations must be in English or accompanied by an English translation.
• Topics must be relevant to Affective Computing.

Submissions should include:

• A published paper representing the dissertation.
• The dissertation itself.
• A statement from the PhD advisor (max 1 page).
