The 1st Workshop on Clinical NLP for Quality of Life invites papers on NLP methods for extracting QoL indicators from clinical text. Submission deadline: March 15, 2026.
The 1st Workshop on Clinical Natural Language Processing for Quality of Life (cNLP4QoL) invites original, unpublished work on NLP methods for extracting and modeling Quality of Life indicators from clinical narratives and patient-generated text.
Topics of interest include:
- NLP methods for QoL indicators
- Functional, psychosocial, and behavioral health modeling
- Explainability and trustworthiness in clinical language models
- Annotation frameworks and evaluation metrics for QoL constructs
Submissions are accepted in various formats: Regular papers (8-10 pages), Short papers (4-6 pages), Position papers (4-6 pages), and Abstracts (2 pages). All submissions will undergo single-blind peer review and be published in the IEEE ICHI 2026 Proceedings.
