Call for Submissions: Social Media Access Days Conference

Submit your proposals for the Social Media Access Days conference by 31 October 2025 to discuss archiving, indexing, and use of social media data.

The Social Media Access Days conference, scheduled from 17 to 19 March 2026 at the German National Library in Frankfurt am Main, invites submissions for presentations, tutorials, workshops, and interactive formats.

The conference focuses on the archiving, indexing, and use of social media data, addressing challenges faced by researchers, research institutions, and cultural heritage institutions.

• Sustainable infrastructure for collecting and providing access to social media content
• Interaction between researchers and archiving institutions
• Ethical and legal issues
• Challenges posed by restrictive data access
• Experiences with data access in the context of the Digital Services Act
