ECMLPKDD 2025: Call for Research Papers

ECMLPKDD 2025 is now accepting research papers in Machine Learning, Knowledge Discovery, and Data Mining. Key dates, paper format, and submission guidelines are provided.

The European Conference on Machine Learning and Principles and Practice of Knowledge Discovery in Databases (ECML PKDD 2025) is now accepting research papers. The conference, to be held in Porto, Portugal from September 15-19, 2025, invites high-quality submissions in all areas of Machine Learning, Knowledge Discovery, and Data Mining.

Papers should demonstrate substantial contributions to the field, such as improving the state-of-the-art or providing new theoretical insights. Submissions will be evaluated based on their contribution to the state of the art, technical excellence, potential impact, and clarity.

Key Dates:

  • CMT Opening: February 7, 2025
  • Abstract Submission: March 7, 2025
  • Paper Submission: March 14, 2025
  • Author Notification: May 26, 2025
  • CRC Submission: June 13, 2025

Paper Format:

Papers must be written in English and formatted in LaTeX, adhering to the provided author kit. The maximum length is 16 pages, including references. Up to 10 MB of additional materials can be uploaded. The reviewers and program committee reserve the right to reject over-length papers without review.

Authorship:

The author list is final upon submission. No changes will be accepted during the review period or after acceptance. The conference employs a double-blind review process, requiring papers to be anonymized.

Conference Attendance:

At least one author of each accepted paper must register and present the paper in person.

Proceedings:

The conference proceedings will be published by Springer in the Lecture Notes in Computer Science Series (LNCS).

Reproducible Research:

Authors are encouraged to make data and software tools available to enable reproducibility. Standard repository hosting services are recommended.

Ethics Considerations:

Submissions must consider ethical implications, including data collection and processing, and potential uses of the work.
