First Workshop on Natural Language Argument-based Explanations (ArgNLE) @ ECAI 2024

The First Workshop on Natural Language Argument-based Explanations (ArgNLE) is set to take place on October 20th, 2024, in Santiago de Compostela, Spain, alongside ECAI 2024. The workshop aims to explore the intersection of Explainable AI (XAI) and Computational Argumentation, focusing on the development of natural language explanations for AI predictions. The workshop welcomes contributions related to various topics, including dialectical, dialogical, and conversational explanations, AI methods to support argumentative explainability, and real-world applications. Submissions can be original, dataset-related, or project-related, and must be written in English using the ECAI LaTeX template. The deadline for paper submission has been extended to June 30th, 2024.
