Fully Funded PhD Studentship in Lifelong Robot Learning with Large Language Models
The University of Southampton, UK, is offering a fully funded PhD studentship in Lifelong Robot Learning with Large Language Models. The project aims to explore how Large Language Models (LLMs) can be harnessed for continuous skill acquisition in robots, as opposed to mastering a predefined set of tasks. The successful candidate will join the School of Electronics and Computer Science, which is ranked 1st in the UK for Electrical and Electronic Engineering. Applicants must have a strong background in machine learning and prior knowledge of reinforcement learning, robotics, and training and finetuning LLMs is highly desirable.
