The University of Southampton is offering a fully funded PhD studentship in Lifelong Robot Learning with Large Language Models. The project aims to explore the integration of Large Language Models (LLMs) into robot learning for long-horizon task learning and few-shot adaptation in a continual learning setting. The successful candidate will join the School of Electronics and Computer Science, which is ranked 1st in the UK for Electrical and Electronic Engineering. Applicants must have a strong background in machine learning. Funding is available for UK, EU, and Horizon Europe Associated Countries. Exceptional overseas candidates may also be considered.
