A Special Thematic Session titled ‘GenAI for Cognitive Accessibility: Plain Language and Inclusive User Interaction’ is announced at ICCHP 2026, taking place from July 13 to 17, 2026, at Masaryk University Brno, Czech Republic.

The session aims to bring together researchers and practitioners to explore the intersection of Generative AI, Human-Computer Interaction, and cognitive accessibility.

• Topics of interest include accessible GenAI interaction, Plain Language generation, human-in-the-loop approaches, and intelligent user interfaces for cognitive accessibility.
• Other topics include multimodal GenAI, cognitive load reduction, accessible communication, evaluation protocols, and ethics in GenAI systems.

Important dates:

• Extended Abstract submission: February 9, 2026
• Notification of Acceptance: March 23, 2026
• Final Camera-Ready Paper: April 16, 2026
