ICAPS 2025: Call for System Demonstrations in Automated Planning and Scheduling

ICAPS 2025 invites researchers to showcase working systems in automated planning and scheduling, with a focus on robustness, generalization, scalability, and deployment effort.

The ICAPS 2025 System Demonstrations & Exhibits Program invites researchers and practitioners in automated planning and scheduling to showcase their working systems in action.

We welcome all forms of systems, including cutting-edge research prototypes, deployed or in-development applications, tools for teaching or visualizing planning/scheduling, and systems powered by large language models, reinforcement learning, or hybrid approaches.

Submissions should emphasize robustness, generalization, scalability, and deployment effort.

Submissions consist of a no more than 2-page abstract (AAAI format) and a no more than 10-minute video demo, both critical for evaluation.

Accepted demos will be featured on the ICAPS website and showcased during the conference.

An award will be given for the Best System Demonstration!

Important Dates:

  • Submission Deadline: Monday, June 9, 2025
  • Notification: July 21, 2025

For questions, contact the Demo Chairs: Jiaoyang Li (CMU) – jiaoyangli [at] cmu.edu or Hector Palacios (independent) – hectorpal [at] gmail.com
