The 8th International Conference on Natural Language and Speech Processing (ICNLSP 2025) is now accepting submissions for its upcoming conference, scheduled for August 25-26, 2025, in Odense, Denmark. The conference will be held in a hybrid format, allowing both in-person and virtual participation.

ICNLSP 2025 invites contributions on a wide range of topics, including theoretical foundations and applied aspects of Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Speech Processing. Key areas of interest include:

  • Natural Language Processing: Cognition and NLP, machine translation, text categorization, summarization, sentiment analysis, computational social web, under-resourced languages, large language models (LLMs), NLP tools for software requirements, text annotation tools, knowledge management systems, information extraction, data mining, lexical semantics, and visualization for NLP.
  • Speech Processing: Signal processing, speech recognition, speech analysis, paralinguistics, spoken dialogue systems, speech translation, speech synthesis, speaker verification, language identification, speech coding, speech perception, brain studies on speech, phonetics, phonology, prosody, and speech technology for disordered speech and hearing.

Important dates to remember:

  • Submission deadline: May 25, 2025, 11:59 PM (GMT)
  • Notification of acceptance: July 20, 2025
  • Camera-ready paper due: August 3, 2025
  • Conference dates: August 25-26, 2025

Accepted papers will be published in the ACL Anthology. Additionally, selected papers will be published (after extension) in the Signals and Communication Technology series by Springer, indexed in Scopus and zbMATH.

ICNLSP 2025 will also present Best Full Paper and Best Short Paper awards, recognizing outstanding contributions based on originality, significance, quality, and clarity of presentation.
