The ICRA 2025 workshop on simulators for marine applications is now accepting submissions. This workshop aims to explore and enhance simulation tools for underwater robotics, addressing the high entry barriers in this field.
Important dates:
- 1st submission deadline: March 5, 2025
- Notifications of acceptance: March 15, 2025
- 2nd submission deadline: April 1, 2025
The workshop will be held on May 23, 2025, as part of the ICRA’25 workshop program. It will feature invited speakers including Prof. Yvan R. Petillot, Prof. Pere Ridao, Dr. Joshua Mangelson, Mr. Marc Steinberg, Prof. Kevin Koser, and Dr. Corina Barbalata.
Potential topics for submission include practical solutions for ocean exploration, underwater manipulation, sonar and computer vision, SLAM and navigation, AI and machine learning, and novel simulation techniques. Submissions can be long papers (6 pages + references) or short papers (2 pages).
