The Research Training Group 2853 is offering multiple PhD positions in Neuroexplicit Models of Language, Vision, and Action, starting in September 2025. The positions are part of a collaborative effort between Saarland University, Max Planck Institutes, CISPA Helmholtz Center, and DFKI.

  • Research areas include natural language processing, computer vision, planning, and reinforcement learning.
  • PhD students will be jointly supervised by two advisors and have the freedom to define their research topics.
  • The positions are funded for four years at the TV-L E13 100% pay scale.
