MultiPRIDE Shared Task at EVALITA 2026: CFP
Participate in the MultiPRIDE shared task at EVALITA 2026 to explore the detection of reclaimed slurs in LGBTQ+ contexts across multiple languages.
The MultiPRIDE shared task is calling for participation at EVALITA 2026. This task focuses on the multilingual automatic detection of reclamation of slurs in the LGBTQ+ context. Researchers, practitioners, and students are invited to explore features and issues related to reclaimed language.
Key aspects to investigate include:
- Textual content (arguments, slurs, denigratory words, self-labeling, figures of speech)
- Contextual information from users’ profiles (when available)
Two tasks are proposed:
- Task A: Textual Content – classification based on tweet content only
- Task B: Contextual Content – classification using both tweet content and author’s profile information
MultiPRIDE is a multilingual task involving Italian, Spanish, and English data. More details are available on the MultiPRIDE website.
