The 7th Workshop on Open-Source Arabic Corpora and Processing Tools (OSACT7) invites submissions on Arabic language resources and NLP tools, co-located with LREC 2026 in Palma, Spain.
The 7th Workshop on Open-Source Arabic Corpora and Processing Tools (OSACT7) is calling for papers. Co-located with LREC 2026 in Palma, Mallorca, Spain on 11 May 2026, OSACT7 invites submissions on open-source Arabic language resources and processing tools.
The workshop focuses on bringing together researchers, practitioners, and students in computational linguistics, NLP, and IR with an emphasis on accessibility and reproducibility. It features five shared tasks alongside regular paper submissions, addressing challenges in Arabic NLP.
- Arabic language resources and annotated corpora
- Pre-trained & fine-tuned Arabic language models
- Dialect identification and translation
- Sentiment analysis, text classification, and fake news detection
Submissions are accepted in three categories: Long papers (up to 8 pages), Short papers (up to 4 pages), and Shared task system papers (up to 4 pages). The submission deadline is 18 February 2026. Submit your papers through https://softconf.com/lrec2026/OSACT7/.
