Dr. Bo Liu, Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Arizona, is seeking 4-5 Ph.D. students for the Spring and Fall 2025 semesters. The research group focuses on deep reinforcement learning, trustworthy AI, explainable/safe/risk-aware AI, and intelligent autonomous driving. Successful applicants will receive full scholarships. Dr. Liu is an internationally recognized scholar in AI with expertise in primal-dual optimization and complexity analysis, trustworthy decision-making, and explainable AI. He has published over 40 papers in leading conferences and journals and received funding from NSF, Amazon, Tencent, and ETRI.
