Job Title: PhD Position in Adaptation in Cognitive Architectures for Human Robot Interaction at Italian Institute of Technology (IIT)

Description: The Italian Institute of Technology (IIT) is offering a PhD position in the field of cognitive robotics, interaction and rehabilitation technologies. The successful candidate will investigate the cognitive bases of human adaptation abilities and design, implement and test elements of a cognitive architecture for an artificial cognitive agent. This project is part of the iCog Cognitive Architecture scientific initiative, which brings together multiple disciplines such as computer science, artificial intelligence, neuro- & cognitive sciences, robotics, and social sciences.

Requirements: Candidates must have a degree in Robotics, Bioengineering, Computer science, Computer engineering, Cognitive Sciences or related disciplines. Programming skills in C++ are preferable but not mandatory. Problem-solving attitude is required.
