PhyRC Phase 2 Competition at ICRA’25

PhyRC Phase 2 Competition at ICRA’25: 10 teams selected to compete with real robots, sponsored by Kinova Robotics and Hello Robot.

We are pleased to announce the teams selected to participate in the ICRA’25 PhyRC Phase 2 Competition.

Following the successful completion of the Simulation Phase, the teams will now compete with real robots, with prizes sponsored by Kinova Robotics and Hello Robot.

  • The participating teams and their labs are:
    • Track 1 (Robot-assisted Dressing):
      • USC SLURM – SLURM Lab at the University of Southern California
      • RALLA – Robot-Assisted Living Laboratory at the University of York
      • UNIChAMPions – AdRoLab and H.IAAC at the University of Brazil
      • UWMTR – Active and Interactive Robotics Lab at the University of Waterloo
      • EDLAB – Fudan University and Shanghai Innovation Institute
    • Track 2 (Robot-assisted Bed Bathing):
      • USC SLURM – SLURM Lab at the University of Southern California
      • RALLA – Robot-Assisted Living Laboratory at the University of York
      • RoboNotts – Cyber-physical Health and Assistive Robotics Technologies Research Group at the University of Nottingham
      • Idiap – Robot Learning and Interaction group and the Human-centered Robotics and AI group at the Idiap Research Institute and EPFL

We appreciate everyone’s efforts in Phase 1 and look forward to an exciting Phase 2 with these talented teams!
