Postdoc Research Fellow position in Computer Vision for Augmented Reality in liver resection at University of Leeds, UK. 36-month position, closing date: 26th October 2025.

A post-doctoral research fellow position is available at the University of Leeds for 36 months as part of an EPSRC funded project on ‘High-Fidelity Augmented Reality in Laparoscopic/Robotic Liver Resection’.

The project focuses on technical innovations in computer vision and computer graphics for real-time interaction in surgical planning. The successful candidate will work with computational scientists and clinical surgeons to develop novel methods and validate them using experimental setups.

• Key responsibilities include developing various experimental setups and validating methods using a controlled robotic arm and sensors.
• The project aims to transform research and practice in surgical care through collaborative work.
