Postdoctoral Position in Probabilistic Machine Learning at Aalborg University
Aalborg University invites applications for a Postdoctoral position in Probabilistic Machine Learning for Spatio-Temporal Data Modelling, part of the DK-Future project, with a focus on predicting land-use changes under climate uncertainty.
Aalborg University is seeking a Postdoctoral researcher for an 18-month position in Probabilistic Machine Learning for Spatio-Temporal Data Modelling. The project is part of the DK-Future initiative, focusing on predicting future Danish land use under compound climate impacts.
Key responsibilities include developing probabilistic spatio-temporal models using Bayesian, ensemble, and diffusion approaches. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Andrés R. Masegosa and in collaboration with Prof. Jamal Jokar Arsanjani.
- PhD in Machine Learning, AI, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field required.
- Experience in probabilistic/Bayesian methods, variational inference, and spatio-temporal modelling is essential.
- Familiarity with geospatial or environmental data is desirable.
The position is based in Copenhagen, Denmark, and the deadline for application is 21 November 2025. For more information and to apply, visit Aalborg University’s vacancy page.
