Key responsibilities include designing efficient stochastic optimization algorithms for trustworthy machine learning, conducting experimental validation of learning algorithms, and contributing to external engagement and academic communications.
The ideal candidate will have a PhD (or near completion) in mathematics, applied mathematics, data science, statistics, or a related area, an excellent track record of publishing high-quality papers, research experience in machine learning and related areas, a solid mathematics background, good programming skills, and good communication skills.
