The successful candidate will work with Professor Patricia Alves-Oliveira in the Robot Studio research lab and have extensive experience and a passion for robotics, human-robot interaction, biometrics, controls, learning, and the arts. Responsibilities include producing independent research results, publishing high-quality engineering journals, and traveling to national and international conferences and DARPA events. Required qualifications include a Ph.D. in Robotics or a related field, mechatronics experience, proven experience with ROS, and proficiency in programming languages such as Python and C/C++.
