Postdoctoral Research Position in Reliable LLM-based Data Curation Systems at MPI-SWS Saarbrücken
Discover a postdoctoral research opportunity at MPI-SWS Saarbrücken, focusing on developing reliable Large Language Models based data curation systems. Apply by 25 Nov. 2024.
We invite applications for a postdoctoral research position in the Foundations of Algorithmic Verification group led by Prof. Joël Ouaknine. The successful candidate will work on a pioneering project that aims to develop reliable Large Language Models (LLMs) based data curation systems, addressing uncertainties and errors in LLMs for data verification and enrichment tasks. The project focuses on effective retrieval of relevant information, balanced integration of RAG and long-context LLMs, detection and correction of hallucinations, verification of LLM-based reasoning, and optimization of overall system efficiency.
The postdoctoral researcher will contribute to defining the verification methodology and develop an optimized system for data curation using LLMs. The position requires a PhD degree in a relevant field, strong algorithm design and coding skills, proficiency in popular ML development frameworks, and a thorough understanding of LLMs. Experience in RAG, hallucination detection, and relevant industrial experience are beneficial.
To apply, send a cover letter and CV to Ms. Lena Schneider (lschneid@mpi-sws.org). Applications will be reviewed until a suitable candidate is found, with full consideration given to those received by 25 Nov. 2024.
