A fully funded two-year postdoctoral position in AI for Weather Forecasting is available at the Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI) in Abu Dhabi, UAE, under the supervision of Prof. Souhaib Ben Taieb.

The successful candidate will develop state-of-the-art machine learning methods for weather prediction, uncertainty quantification, and data assimilation, collaborating with national and international partners.

• A Ph.D. in Computer Science, Atmospheric or Climate Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related field is required.
• Practical experience in applying machine learning to weather modeling or forecasting is necessary.
• Proficiency in Python and widely used ML frameworks is expected.
