Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf invites applications for a Professorship in Machine Learning (W2 or W1 with tenure track to W2) at the Department of Computer Science.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in modern machine learning techniques, such as Large Language Models, Deep Learning architectures, and Explainable AI, with connections to Natural Language Processing.

• Experience in developing machine learning methods and collaborative projects is required.
• Active participation in the Heine Center for Artificial Intelligence and Data Science (HeiCAD) is desirable.
• Teaching responsibilities include courses in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence.
