The 1st Smarter Extraction of ScholArly MEtadata using Knowledge Graphs and Language Models (SESAME) Workshop will be held during JCDL 2025, a virtual event, on 15-19 December 2025.
SESAME brings together researchers and practitioners to discuss AI-driven curation approaches that leverage large language models and knowledge graphs to strengthen digital libraries infrastructures. Topics of interest include:
- Research Artifacts Metadata Modeling and Granularity
- Large Language Models (LLMs) and NLP for Metadata
- Knowledge Graphs and Linked Data
- Digital Libraries and Infrastructure
- Societal, Ethical Impact and Future Policy Directions
