Submit Your Abstract for the 2nd Round Call for Abstracts – SUDS Conference

Don’t miss your chance to share your research at the 1st Annual Scientific Understanding through Data Science (SUDS) Conference! The conference, organized by the Caltech and NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory community, aims to bring together students, practitioners, and program managers to share experiences and outcomes from successful collaborations between physical scientists and data scientists. The 2nd round call for abstracts is now open, with a deadline of June 28th at 11:59pm.

Abstracts should emphasize data science and physical science collaborations in the following science areas: Earth, Planetary, Heliophysics, Space Physics, Astronomy, and Cosmology, especially when incorporating remote sensing observations. Submissions are limited to 500 words with one figure and should be no more than one page in length, not including references. Abstract templates can be found on the SUDS Conference Website.

Submissions will be down selected and attendance will be determined based on selectability. Submissions will be prioritized based on submission quality, alignment to the conference science areas, and availability of the selected session(s): Poster only, Poster and Lightning Oral (10 min talk, 5 min Q&A), or Contributed Oral (20 min talk, 10 min Q&A).

Questions may be directed to the SUDS Conference Organizing Committee at sudsconf at jpl.nasa.gov.

Don’t miss this opportunity to be a part of the inaugural SUDS Conference and establish the community of science and data science collaborators. Submit your abstract today!
