The mathematical data science position involves the development of a comprehensive theoretical foundation for machine learning and modern artificial intelligence applications, while the mathematical climate science position focuses on the development, analysis, and application of innovative mathematical methods to study the fundamental physical components of the climate system.
The mathematical climate science position is part of a cluster hire in the area of Climate Physics and Mathematics and offers laboratory space for experimental research.
