The Neuromodulation Institute in Paris invites applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher position in human brainโcomputer interfaces. The successful candidate will work on a project led by Philippe Domenech, in collaboration with Joรฃo Barbosa and Guillaume Bellec.
The project involves developing data-driven state-space models of neural dynamics for optimal control policies for stimulation, as well as inference pipelines for predicting network responses of intracranial recordings. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing computational models of neural dynamics
- Creating inference pipelines for predicting network responses
- Collaborating with clinicians, neurosurgeons, and patients
Required skills and experience include strong scientific programming skills in Python, demonstrated experience in machine learning, and excellent written and spoken English. Direct experimental experience is not required, but enthusiasm for interacting with clinicians and patients is necessary.
Applications should be sent to palerma@gmail.com with the subject ‘Postdoctoral Position in Human BrainโComputer Interfaces’. The application should include a statement of past work and future research interests, CV, and at least one manuscript demonstrating required experience.
