1st UniDive Training Summer School 2024 – Deadline Extension
We are excited to announce that the deadline for the 1st UniDive Training Summer School 2024 has been extended to Monday 6 May 2024, or until budget exhaustion. This extension is due to recently acquired funding, which allows us to support more than 50 trainees, covering their travel and stay for 6 nights. The school is dedicated to young researchers and investigators, particularly those working on low-resourced languages, dialects, and varieties. The program includes courses on annotating Universal Dependencies treebanks, multiword expressions, and corpus annotation infrastructure. Participants are required to submit a project proposal related to the topics of the training school, and applications will be evaluated based on the trainee’s country, age, gender and geographical balance, relevance and quality of the project, and status of the language on which the trainee intends to work. If you are not selected based on these criteria and can find other financial sources to cover your expenses, you are also welcome to participate.
