2nd Workshop on Multimodal, Affective and Interactive Explainable AI (MAI-XAI 25) at ECAI 2025

The 2nd Workshop on Multimodal, Affective and Interactive Explainable AI (MAI-XAI 25) will be held in Bologna, Italy, from October 25-26, 2025, as part of the European Conference on Artificial Intelligence (ECAI). The workshop aims to improve the effectiveness of explanations in AI systems by leveraging multiple modalities, affective aspects, and interactive approaches.

The workshop will feature regular and short paper presentations, as well as oral and poster presentations. Authors are encouraged to submit papers on topics such as multimodal XAI, affective XAI, and interactive XAI.

Important dates include abstract registration (May 15th, 2025), paper submission (May 21st, 2025), and acceptance/rejection notification (July 24th, 2025). The workshop is planned as an in-person event.
