7th FEVER Workshop and Shared Task at EMNLP 2024: AVeriTeC Shared Task Introduction

The 7th FEVER workshop and shared task, collocated with EMNLP 2024, has announced a new shared task called AVeriTeC. This task focuses on real-world claim verification using evidence from the web. Participants must return a label (Supported, Refuted, Not Enough Evidence, Conflicting Evidence/Cherry-picking) and provide appropriate evidence for each claim.
