The 7th School on Belief Functions and their Applications will take place at the University of Granada, Granada, Spain from October 19-23, 2025. This biennial event, organized by the Belief Functions and Applications Society (BFAS), offers a unique opportunity for students and researchers to learn about fundamental and advanced aspects of the theory of belief functions, a formalism for reasoning with uncertainty.
The school will feature lectures by prominent researchers covering both basic and advanced theoretical concepts, as well as applications of belief functions in various domains including machine learning, information fusion, statistical inference, and materials science. The BFAS is offering several grants to cover the school registration fees for selected participants.
