8th Workshop on Behavior Adaptation, Interaction and Learning for Assistive Robotics (BAILAR) at RO-MAN 2024

The 8th Workshop on Behavior Adaptation, Interaction and Learning for Assistive Robotics (BAILAR) will be held on August 26, 2024 in Pasadine, California (USA) as part of the 33rd International Conference on Robots & Human Interactive Communication (RO-MAN 2024). The workshop aims to bring together researchers and practitioners to discuss and share ideas on the latest developments in behavior adaptation, interaction and learning for assistive robotics. Topics of interest include online adaptive behavior, user and behavior modeling for adaptation, emotion and intention recognition, multimodal interfaces for emotion recognition, affective and emotional robots, empathy in robotics, mutual affective communication, and more. The deadline for paper submission is June 7th, 2024. Invited speakers include Prof. Iolanda Leite, Prof. Laurel Riek, and Prof. Minsu Jang.
