Call for contributions to the ACM-ICMI 2025 Doctoral Consortium, providing PhD students with a unique opportunity to showcase their research and receive feedback from mentors and peers.
The ICMI Doctoral Consortium (DC) provides a unique opportunity for PhD students to showcase their research and receive feedback from mentors and peers. The consortium aims to build a network and community among researchers interested in designing and developing multimodal interfaces and interactions.
Eligible students should submit an extended abstract, advisor letter, and curriculum vitae through the ICMI submission system (https://new.precisionconference.com/submissions) by June 16th, 2025.
Key points to include in the extended abstract:
- Key research questions and motivation
- Background and related work
- Statement of hypotheses or technical problem
- Research plan and approach
- Research results to date and remaining work
- Statement of research contributions
Selected students will have the opportunity to present their work, receive feedback, and connect with mentors and peers. Financial support may be available for participating students.
