VIB.AI is currently recruiting four Group Leaders with expertise in AI and mathematical modeling to join their dynamic academic environment. The positions are based in Leuven or Ghent, Belgium, and offer substantial core research funding and state-of-the-art facilities. We are seeking candidates with a background in machine learning or a related quantitative field who can apply AI and mathematical modeling to address fundamental questions in biology. The research focus includes the development of new AI architectures for biology, foundation models of genome regulation, AI-based modeling of protein structure, and AI-based modelling of cell morphology and tissue function.
