AIces 2026: International School on AI’s Cognitive, Ethical, and Societal Dimensions
AIces 2026 is an international school on AI’s cognitive, ethical, and societal dimensions, featuring keynote lectures, courses, and debates. Register by July 25, 2025.
The 1st International School on the Cognitive, Ethical and Societal Dimensions of Artificial Intelligence (AIces 2026) will take place in Porto, Portugal, from January 19-23, 2026. The event is co-organized by the University of Maia and the Institute for Research Development, Training and Advice (IRDTA).
AIces 2026 will cover current debates about AI and its impact on society, including cognition, ethics, and societal dimensions. The event will feature 12 courses, 2 keynote lectures, 1 round table, 1 symposium, and 3 open thematic debate sessions.
- Keynote speakers include Georgios B. Giannakis and Ming Lin.
- Renowned professors will deliver courses on topics such as Responsible AI, Algorithmic Fairness, and Computational Cognitive Models.
- Participants can attend in person or online, with opportunities for networking and face-to-face interaction.
