Get ready to participate in the Fifth Workshop on NLP for Indigenous Languages of the Americas, co-located with NAACL 2025 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA!

The workshop aims to encourage research on NLP, computational linguistics, corpus linguistics, and speech for Indigenous languages, connecting researchers and professionals from underrepresented communities with the ACL community.

• Create datasets for NLP applications
• Incorporate external knowledge into neural systems
• Explore linguistic typology and typological features for NLP
• Apply transfer learning, meta-learning, and active learning
• Develop machine translation for low-resource languages

Submit your research by March 7th, 2025 and participate in one of the three shared tasks: machine translation, educational resources, or metrics for MT in indigenous languages.
