Apply now for the AI Policy Summer School at Brown University, open to graduate students and postdocs in computing and affiliated fields.

Calling all graduate students and postdocs in computing and affiliated fields! Brown University’s Center for Technological Responsibility, Reimagination and Redesign (CNTR) is launching an AI Policy Summer School from July 22nd to July 31st, 2025.

The summer school aims to enable students to conduct high-quality policy-informed AI research, advocate for new AI policies, and build a pipeline of qualified technologists for government needs.

Highlights include:

  • Seminars, reading groups, and discussions with guest speakers in Providence, RI
  • Meetings with Congressional offices, executive agencies, and civil society organizations in Washington, D.C.
  • Confirmed speakers include Alan Davidson, Kiri Wagstaff, and Helen Toner

Eligibility is open to graduate students, postdocs, and dedicated undergraduates in computing and affiliated fields. No prior experience with policy or advocacy is required.
