ArabicNLP 2025: Call for Shared Tasks Proposals

ArabicNLP 2025 invites proposals for shared tasks related to Arabic NLP. Submit proposals by April 6th, 2025.

The Third Arabic Natural Language Processing Conference (ArabicNLP 2025) invites proposals for shared tasks related to Arabic NLP. Proposals should include an overview of the task, motivation, data collection and creation, task description, pilot run details, tentative timeline, and task organizers’ information.

Proposals should be submitted in PDF format and can be up to 4 pages long. The submission link is here.

The selection process will be based on factors such as novelty, expected interest, data collection plans, evaluation method, and impact. Upon acceptance, task organizers are expected to verify timely task organization and data delivery, provide resources, create a mailing list, and maintain communication and support.

• April 6th, 2025: Shared task proposals due
• April 20th, 2025: Notification of shared task proposal acceptance

Important dates for shared task proposals include June 1, 2025, for the release of training, dev, and dev-test data, and evaluation scripts, and November 5-9, 2025, for the main conference.
