The Computer Science and Engineering Department at UC Santa Cruz is seeking outstanding applicants for an Assistant or Associate Professor position in Generative AI and NLP. The position is based at the UC Silicon Valley Campus in Santa Clara, California. Applicants should have a PhD in Computer Science or a relevant field, a demonstrated record of research, and an understanding of the barriers facing underrepresented groups in engineering. The successful candidate will contribute to the M.S. program in NLP, develop a research program, advise graduate students, teach courses, and perform university, public, and professional service.
