The Language & Vision-based Mobility Assistance for Visually Impaired People PhD thesis offer is now available at IMT Atlantique, Brest. The research will be conducted in the Lab-STICC (UMR CNRS 6285) as part of the RAMBO team. The successful candidate will work on Assistive Technologies, Visual Impairment, Computer Vision, and Image Captioning. The PhD thesis is for 3 years starting from September/October 2024. The supervisors are Panagiotis Papadakis and Christophe Lohr. The candidate must hold (or is about to obtain) a Master Degree in Computer Science with AI algorithms and deep-learning tools expertise.
