Automated Machine Learning Conferences in 2024: AutoML 2024 and Summer School
Attention all machine learning enthusiasts! Two exciting AutoML events are coming up in 2024. The International Conference on Automated Machine Learning will take place from September 9th to 12th in Paris, France. The conference will feature talks on various topics related to automating machine learning, including Bayesian Optimization, NAS, LLMs, RL, applications, AutoML systems, and more. Keynote and invited speakers include Andreas Krause, Stephen Roberts, Leman Akoglu, Irina Rish, Rich Caruana, Mitra Baratchi & Aaron Klein, Chris Van Pelt, Shubham Agarwal, Hideaki Imamura, Johannes Hoffart, Rahma Chaabouni, Martin Rapp, Nilesh Jain, Victor Picheny & Hrvoje Stojic. Tutorials on AutoRL, meta-features, zero-cost proxies for NAS, AutoGluon and FLAML will also be available.
Additionally, the 4th AutoML School will take place from September 2nd to 6th in Hannover, Germany. This school will include basic lectures, keynote lectures, hands-on sessions, and networking with AutoML experts to bridge the gap between research and practical applications. Topics will include AutoML Systems, Green AutoML, Hyperparameter Tuning, AutoML and Foundation models, Neural Architecture Search, AutoRL, and Energy-efficient ML. Speakers include Kristian Kersting, Josif Grabocka, Oliver Bringmann, Oleksandr Shchur, Setareh Ariafar, Markus Wagner, Jan van Rijn, Bernd Bischl, Frank Hutter, Katharina Strecker, Theresa Eimer, and many more.
