Get the latest updates on the 9th Biomedical Linked Annotation Hackathon (BLAH9), which has extended the deadline for project proposals. The special theme for this year’s event is ‘Ensuring Robustness in LLM-based Research: Reproducibility, Interoperability, and Reliable Evaluation.’ Learn about suggested proposal topics and travel support.
The 9th Biomedical Linked Annotation Hackathon (BLAH9) has extended the deadline for project proposals to 25th October, 2024. The special theme for this year’s event is ‘Ensuring Robustness in LLM-based Research: Reproducibility, Interoperability, and Reliable Evaluation.’ We are seeking proposals that focus on enhancing reproducibility, interoperability, and reliable evaluation in the context of using large language models (LLMs) for biomedical literature annotation and mining. Proposals should aim for measurable outcomes through collaboration during the hackathon, with clearly defined objectives. Suggested proposal topics include enhancing interoperability, developing evaluation frameworks, improving reproducibility, and more. Those who submit project proposals are also eligible to apply for travel support.
