Call for Abstracts: 2nd Edition of RAILS Conference on Rational Approaches in Language Science

The 2nd edition of the RAILS Conference on Rational Approaches in Language Science is coming up! Organized by the Collaborative Research Center (CRC) 1102 ‘Information Density and Linguistic Encoding’, this conference will focus on the theme of rational communication. The goal is to understand how interlocutors process and update information, adapt language use to certain contexts, and store and maintain linguistic and conceptual information in short- and long-term memory.

Researchers from various fields, including speech science, theoretical linguistics, empirical linguistics, psycholinguistics, neuroscience, computational linguistics, and language development, change, and evolution, are invited to submit abstracts for talks and/or posters. Abstracts should be no more than 500 words and fully anonymous, with titles centered at the top of the page in bold and upper case.
