The 16th annual meeting of the Forum for Information Retrieval Evaluation (FIRE 2024) will be held at Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology (DA-IICT), Gandhinagar, India. The conference will take place from 12th to 15th December 2024. FIRE 2024 invites researchers to submit high-quality and original papers in the field of Information Retrieval (IR) and Natural Language Processing (NLP). The submission deadline is 22nd September 2024 (Extended).

The conference will cover various topics of interest, including search and ranking, evaluation, generative models for IR/NLP, explainability, fairness, and trust of IR/Recsys models, and multimodal and crossmodal IR/Recsys models.
